We solved the Euler´s equations for the tippe top in order to understand its behavior. When the tippe top rotates on the floor, its rotation axis turns upside down eventually. In our model we consider three possible torque that change the angular momentum of the tippe top: the one produced by gravity, the one produced by the normal force with the floor and the one produced by the friction force. After calculating the evolution of the angle between the axis of rotation and the vertical line, we concluded that the axis inversion is due to the friction force.
